Okay well I am making some progress on Inmoov in the tools and parts area.

So far the strongest of the servos I can find are 125kg so I bought a book titled “507 Mechanical Movements” hoping that I can find a movement that will magnify the force enough to use in the hips, knees and ankles.

Build Your Own Metal Working Shop From Scrap (Complete 7 Book Series) by David J. Gingery

I found this book on Amazon and it has 4.8/5 stars. Painfully obvious it’s the only way I will have a shop but it seems to be an excellent book.

I have not been working on this stuff like I should have been.

Okay so I have Daz3d, all the files for InMoov, a 3d printer, micro controllers, all the servos for the eyes, face, head and neck, cameras for the eyes, and a little platinum cure silicone for skin. It seems like all I have to do is get to work but my get up and go, got up and went.

Well I got a 1MHz Velleman pocket function generator, I hope it works for what I need it for.

soldering station

Well I was finally able to buy a soldering station , it’s an X-tronic 4000 and it comes with a 5x magnification gooseneck lamp. Less than $80 on Amazon.com . I guess the next thing is going to either be a soldering pad, fume extractor or heat resistant mat to put it all on.

Custom build my own PC myself.

Android Building Tools Posted on Thu, September 13, 2012 20:19

The Home Depot has some of the tools I need at reasonable prices for instance today I bought a 12″ combination square for $4.99 + tax =$5.39 . Home improvement stores have alot of what I need but some things I order from Amazon.com . They have everything such as the book “How To Build an Android: The true story of Philip K. Dick’s robotic resurection”. So with the book I only spent about $23.00 on my android project this month. I am not sure what the next step should be but I think building a computer from nothing but parts would a good start. Don’t get me wrong I know what to do and how to do it I have just never had a good reason to build my own computer. This is going to delay work on my android project for months but I need a good PC. It’s not that it will take months to build , just months to acumulate the parts on my budget. “So here goes nothing”.smiley
